ISO 9001:2000 Certified

 MIER College of Education is the first private college in the State of J&K to receive the ISO 9001:2000 certification for its quality management system.

 

 

The management staff of MIER College of Education have put in joint efforts to improve educational services by improving infrastructure and style of functioning to make these in tune with international standards. ISO 9001:2000 standards have brought a positive change in the work culture of the college. It has provided greater satisfaction to the students and motivation to the staff thereby improving the productivity through quality culture.

 The quality management system of the college is based on the principle of decentralization of roles and responsibilities ensuring accountability of concerned officers. A system of committees has also been setup to manage the day-to-day affairs of the college which includes both teachers and students as its members thereby ensuring transparency in governance. The college management through a system of regular feedback taken in the form of a quality questionnaire from the students collects information in order to improve the facilities in the college and modify the processes for improving the efficiency of the system and ensuring customer satisfaction.
