A webinar on Developing Interactive Open Textbooks for Indian School Education was jointly organized by KBR & HL Human Development Foundation and MIER College of Education (Autonomous) on March 07, 2024, from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm online through Zoom. A total of 80 participants from various educational institutions took part in this webinar.

As a regular feature of the Centre quarterly review meeting of the Centre of Educational Technology was organised on 4th November, 2023. Head, CET presented the activities done by the centre and the house also discussed the future course of action of the Centre.

Induction cum Orientation programme for SoSSH
As an annual feature of the Centre, an Induction cum Orientation programme for SoSSH was organised by the college. The Centre Head along with the IT Team demonstrated the College ERP and WIFI connectivity and allotted the College mail IDs to the newly admitted students.

A Workshop on the Use of AI Tools in Offices for non-teaching staff was organised, in which all non-teaching staff of the College and MIER Administration took part in the workshop to learn and practice AI-enabled Tools for office work.

Three-day workshop on Blended Course Development was organised for teachers of different departments from 25th Sept. to 29th Sept. 2023. In this workshop, the teachers created about 20 blended courses of their respective classes of programmes running under the School of Education and Social Sciences and Humanities.

A Workshop on Artificial Intelligence in Education under a Faculty Development Programme was aimed to engage the faculty in hands-on activities and explore innovative teaching methodologies by using artificial intelligence. AI in Education, as per the resource person Dr. Deepti Malhotra, is the need of the hour for every educator.

Training on using Interactive Panels
A training session on using interactive panels inside a classroom was organised by the Centre in the college. Mr. Shashank from People Link conducted the session. He demonstrated the use of an Interactive panel and it was followed by a hands-on practice session by the faculty members.

Hands on Training Sessions were organised on the Use of Mobile App (Sonet ERP) for the students of M.Ed. Semester II and IV. During which students were able to log in and find information regarding their attednace, fees and other facilities in the Mobile Application by using their respective mobile devices.

Blended Course Design using Moodle
COL organized a 3-week online training on “Blended Course Design using Moodle” from July 29 to August 19, 2021 as part of its TEL implementation process. During the course of the workshop, the participants were acquainted with the MOODLE platform and trained to create blended learning courses and host on the said platform.
