Dr. Nishta Rana, Professor & Head, School of Education, MIER College of Education (Autonomous), Jammu, has been conferred with the prestigious IRSD Distinguished Researcher Award 2025 in recognition of her outstanding contributions to interdisciplinary research and academic excellence.
The award was formally presented to Dr. Rana during the 15th International Conference on Interdisciplinary Research for Sustainable Development (IRSD 2025), held virtually on June 5, 2025, coinciding with World Environment Day. The conference was organized by Green ThinkerZ and the International Institute of Organized Research (I2OR), India, in collaboration with Centre for Smart Modern Construction, Western Sydney University, Australia; Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi; the Global Institute for Education and Research (GIER), India; Sustainable Cosmos, India; and Elsevier’s Mendeley.
The IRSD Distinguished Researcher Award is instituted by I2OR, a registered MSME with the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India, and Green ThinkerZ, registered under NGO Darpan, NITI Aayog, Government of India.
This international recognition is a testament to Dr. Rana’s scholarly achievements and her unwavering commitment to research-driven education and sustainable development.
